This historic church renovation project included the restoration of the church's exterior and extensive interior remodeling to respond to current liturgical demands and to provide handicapped accessibility. The renovation of the Nave included plaster repair and painting, new lighting, pews, and windows, and a new Baptistry and altar were constructed out of the marble of the former altar rail. A new Sacristy, Reconciliation Room, bathrooms, and elevator were incorporated into the new Narthex/Gathering Space which borrowed one bay from the former church Nave. Lower level offices, fellowship hall, meeting rooms and a food pantry were also created. |
