This project is Phase 2 of the accessibility improvements at Holy Name Cathedral. This phase includes a new elevator addition and courtyard design. The elevator addition is designed as an extension of the existing church architecture replicating the gothic arched stained glass windows, stone masonry detailing, buttresses, and gabled roof design. The elevator will provide handicapped access to the church and to the lower level. The existing courtyard will be remodeled with new stone pavers, landscaping and seating areas. A new covered walkway was also designed to connect the church, school and Parish Center. |
