This 2,100 sf addition is part of a comprehensive Parish Center remodeling that provides handicapped accessibility to the sanctuary as well as new bathrooms, bride's room, and a gathering space. The existing brick wall of the church was left exposed and skylights created over the existing stained glass windows to allow uninterrupted natural light. The focal point of the new space is a round skylight that builds on the geometry of the existing Parish Center wall and curved handicapped ramps. The new Parish Center also features remodeled offices on the First Floor, an new kitchen and a multi-purpose meeting room on the lower level and a renovated rectory on the second floor. |
